Jim and Mike return to Phantom of the Attic to bring you some of the spookiest, scariest, screamiest adventures ever offered for Dungeon Crawl Classics! Jim has updated Forrest Aguirre’s “Beyond the Silver Scream” for 2nd Level Characters. Mike will be presenting “The Sinister Sutures of the Semptress,” a 6th Level adventure by Michael Curtis.
Beyond the Silver Scream:
Welcome to Beyond the Silver Scream, a Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG-compatible 0-level “funnel”! Players begin as high school kids in the mid-’70s – early-’80s who go to the local seedy theater to catch the premiere of the new horror flick “Screaming Sorority Girls from Planet Playtex”. But the horror isn’t confined to the screen! And the special-effects are all-too-real. So take a seat and brace yourself for an adventure where the director isn’t the only one doing the cutting! Jim will be modifying this adventure to work with 2nd Level Characters.
The Sinister Sutures of the Semptress:
Mother was wrong: There are monsters in the closet.
Terror seeks out the adventurers in the safety of their own homes, drawing them into a tailored web of vengeance long-deferred. Torn from their beds, the PCs find themselves trapped in the House of Tattered Remnants, the home and prison of an eldritch entity known only as the Sempstress. The adventurers must overcome patchwork horrors, unearthly craftsmen, and even the unravelling of their own realities if they hope to defeat the Sempstress in her lair and escape the House. Or will they be unmade by the Sempstress’ evil?
No experience with DCC RPG or role playing games expected or required to play. We’ll provide characters, instruction, and extra dice. You just need to show up. We’re going to have two judges for the event, so we should be able to handle up to 12 players.
